Deliverables are anywhere from 3-5 paragraphs for discussion boards & anywhere from 2 -4 body pages in Individual Projects excluding Title, Abstract and References.
Unit 1. Explain contract and tort rights of employees and corresponding obligations and defenses of employers. Evaluate the specific forms of workplace discrimination prohibited under current statutory and case law. Construct and discuss preemptive management strategies that respond to the legal constraints of the current workplace environment.
Unit 2. Discrimination Part 1. – Same as Unit 1 except for – Assess the classes of people protected by current employment law
Unit 3. Discrimination Part 2. – Same as Unit 1 & 2.
Unit 4. Discrimination Part 3. – Same as Unit 1 & 2 except for – List the federal government agencies that regulate each of the areas of employment law covered, and explain how they implement the relevant law and policy.
Unit 5. Employment Regulation – Same as Unit 1 & 4.
