Recital Program or Set List for a Concert

Order Details;

Analyze a program of your choice of a recital or public concert on the following criteria – 3-5 pages double-spaced (5-7 graduate) including reference list: ( You can find any public concert or a recital online and analyze it with the case study)

  1. How does the program match the mission of the organization/ individual or if there is no public mission, what mission would you formulate for this individual/ organization based on the presentation?
  2. Discuss two (graduate students: three) criteria each related to
  3. Artistic quality, i.e. flow of pieces chosen, performance quality, significance of repertoire, diversity of repertoire
    b.     Presentation quality, i.e. venue, communication by performers, lighting, attire, presenting personnel
    c.     Economic viability, i.e. ticket prices, profitability for performers/ presenters, other financial value generated/ lost
  4. Compare this program to the case studies discussed and find at least two similarities and two differences – make sure to cite a specific example from the case study for each comparison (three each graduate).
  5. Write an evaluation segment on your perceived success of the program for the organization and community and possible improvements.
