The teachings of Jesus have faced enormous acceptance, praise, and influence in the Christian world. These teachings have brought forth the largest religion in the world ‒ Christianity. However, as in the case of any other belief or even fact, there are those who believe and those who decide not to believe it, since different people have different religious and social upbringing. Jesus is no exception in this case. Like other beliefs and facts, His teachings and gospels have received much critique from other religious believers and atheists across the globe. There are numerous versions that have appeared to describe his true identity. For example, Muslims view Jesus as one of the greatest messengers of Allah. On the other side, Christians believe and worship Jesus as the son of God. According to my religious belief, Jesus is the son of God, and He is the Lord. However, the concept describing Him as the son of God has some controversies with regard to the Muslim perspective. For Muslims it is tantamount to suggest that God had any sort of relationships with Mary, a regular human being, to bear Jesus. This is however not the case, at least not according to Christians. I think Jesus is Christ, and He died and resurrected for the forgiveness of sins of humankind. Consequently, through him human beings can reconcile their relationship with God and be offered salvation and the promise of eternal life. The Bible teachings emphasize Jesus Christ as the Lamb of God who chose to suffer and be crucified on the cross at Calvary. This was a sign of his obedience to the will of the Eternal Father. So, He came to correct the place of humans after Adam and Eve’s primal sin in Eden.
