If you have animals, what care is available to them after disasters?
If you live with elderly or disabled persons, what do you need to do to care for them?
- Make a disaster plan
Choose the most likely disaster scenario and outline your plan in detail. Make sure to point out the different phases of the disaster management cycle (see rubric).
Use the attached American Red Cross PDF to help make sure you have covered all aspects. You should actually fill this out completely and attach it with your final plan.

Practice your plan and reflect on the process. Discuss your current preparation level and what you can and will change as a result ofthis course. What steps do you need to take to be fully prepared?
