Select Three major problems in your diet(1.I consumed too little water 3 cups instead of recommended 11 cups,2.my intake of dietary fiber is too much 39g instead of 25 g, 3. too little vitamin D intake) and explain the following:
? Identify the problem you have found in your dietary intake. Give the evidence you found in your diet analysis computer printouts that indicates this is a problem. Example: ?My intake of vitamin E is low ?.
? Explain why this dietary problem is important for you to change. What are the long term effects of this problem if it continues? ? How will you change your current diet so that you will no longer have this dietary problem. Think about all that you have learned in this class regarding nutrients and the foods they are found in, as well as, other factors that are important to good nutrition. Use this information to discuss what you have discovered about the one problem in your diet and how you plan to change your diet. Example: ?I will increase my vitamin E by adding 2 tablespoons of salad dressing which contains?)? Be specific (e.g. how many more cups of milk do you need to drink each day to meet your calcium DRI? How much calcium (mg) will you adding to your current intake?)
? Be realistic (i.e. if you don?t like milk how else could you increase your calcium intake). Take into consideration what you really can do (or will do) to change your diet.
