Short Reported. This assessment task provides students with the opportunity to explore different learning styles, and discuss the ways in which knowledge about different learning styles can inform the design of visual communications.
Students are required to download the VAK Learning style questionnaire (Chislett & Chapman, 2005) from Learning Module 1. Students are then to self-administer the questionnaire and ask a second person to complete the questionnaire. Students are then to prepare a report that: (a) Identifies their predominant learning style and the second person’s predominant learning style; (b) Identify the similarities and differences between theirs and the other person’s learning style questionnaire answers; (c) Discuss the relevance of different learning styles to the design of visual communications.
