This is the essay question:
“Australian literary writing always stages encounters between people, often in order to draw attention to their differences. Write an essay on this topic, drawing on two texts from the course. You might look at racial or ethnic difference, social difference, class differences, gender differences, town/country differences, and so on.”
Please focus on these two texts: Seven poor men of Sydney by Christina Stead, and The Slap by Christos Tsiolkas. (It is a comparative essay). Thanks!
